IT Security and Governance Analyst This is a fabulous opportunity to join a multi-national business which is at the cutting edge of global development and plays a key factor in national infrastructures worldwide.
In this role you will report to the Electronic Systems IT Security and Governance Lead, providing assistance, guidance and expertise on IT security & governance. You will be working with the IT team and the business stakeholders, IT service providers and internal corporate IT security teams.
Your main responsibilities as an IT Security and Governance Analyst will involve:
* Understanding the applicable policies, processes, standards etc., including both external and internal documentation.
* Executing IT security and governance related processes.
* Activities associated with the IT security risk management.
* Assisting with IT security incident management, including investigation, response and reporting.
* Implementation of new IT security requirements within the business as needed.
* Providing advice to the business on IT security related matters.
* Ensuring that the business works in compliance with IT policies, standards and processes.
* Supporting internal and external IT audits.
Your skills and qualifications as an IT Security and Governance Analyst:
* Graduate with relevant cyber security or IT Diploma or Degree qualification, experience in an IT and/or IT security role desirable but not essential
* A good understanding of IT infrastructure (e.g. networking, architecture etc.)
* Be able to proactively identify critical and less critical activities to prioritise activities to maximise business benefit.
* Be self-motivated and organised individual, with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation from senior managers to junior engineers.

* Be confident and have strong team working skills.
* Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
* Have a can-do attitude and see issues as challenges to resolve.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on relevant experience
Location: Rochester, Kent UK
