Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a semi senior accountant to join their established Chartered Accountants practice in Maidstone, Kent.
This role entails;
• Accounts preparation for Ltd Companies and sole traders/partnerships
• Management accounts preparation
• Possible assistance on external audit work
• Business tax computations associated with above
• Basic personal tax work
• Bookkeeping
• VAT / MTD work
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
• 2/3 years recent experience working within an accountancy practice is beneficial
• AAT qualified or keen to study ACCA/ACA desirable
• Experience working on external audit assignments is beneficial
• Experience with software such as Sage is desirable, other software is beneficial
The salary for this role is between £19,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
