Consolidation Accountant job in Maidstone £50k - £60k DOE. IFRS, UK GAAP experience needed and Qualified
Your new company
You will be working for an established organisation for a subsidiary of a wider Blue Chip group. The Consolidation & Group Accountant job is a permanent opportunity for someone who has statutory accounts experience within a large practice or large organisation.
Your new role
You will be responsible for on a monthly basis the monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital. You will deal with the exception reports, follow up on ledger mis-posts and monthly verification file. On a Quarterly basis you will prepare the interim financial statements, investor reports, quarterly audit consolidation, submit Office of National Statistics forms and assist with acquisition and disposal accounting and business transfer reviews. Annually you will prepare year end consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, net asset segmental analysis and stat ledger reconciliations. You will assist in the preparation of notes to the financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in financial control, statutory accounts preparation, consolidations and IFRS. You will need excellent written and oral communication around delivering financial results. You will need UK GAAP experience. You will be either ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified ideally with industry experience. You will have advanced Excel skills and macros & modelling would be an advantage. You will need to have worked within a large organisation with a group function, or within a Financial Services business, or a large accountancy practice.
What you'll get in return
