Job Title: Temporary accommodation support worker (live in)
Reporting to: Head of property
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Place of Work: Gillingham Guest House



We are looking for a live in Guest House Manager for our Gillingham Guest House.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning of communal areas
• Cleaning of tenants rooms
• Signing tenants in and out of rooms
• Reporting repairs
• Dealing with any other management issues that may arise.

Role Requirements:

• A caring and compassionate approach.
• Housing (or similar) experience.
• Good timekeeping skills.
• The ability to think on your feet.
• Computer Literate

Parking onsite is available although you do not need to be a driver for this role.

Experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

You must be an excellent communicator, have good customer service skills and have a friendly and helpful approach.

You will be expected to live in the guest house and stay overnight, you will have your own separate, kitchen, Wifi, TV, bedroom and bathroom.

You will have 20 days holiday but we are expecting the person to stay at the guest house weekdays and weekends. There is "downtime" when you can leave the guest house to do other activities, mainly during the day.

This role would not suit someone with dependants or other family commitments.

Accommodation is provided for free and an attractive salary is also offered.

All equipment and clothing is provided. You must pass a DBS check and be a UK citizen or free to work in the UK. Evidence of this will be requested.
