This is an exciting opportunity to join our outstanding independent school. You will work as a full time Tutor alongside our friendly team of passionate, professional and enthusiastic staff supporting our amazing pupils.

As a Tutor, you will be working with children with autism on a 1:1 basis, implementing learning and behaviour programs set by our qualified teachers and behavioural specialists using techniques based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

You will work in small teams, ensuring the daily needs of our pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment.
You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic as well as creative, energetic and committed to engaging a pupil whilst monitoring their progress and giving them the best school experience possible.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to children’s lives by enabling them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Ideally you will have experience of working with children and have good communication skills both written and verbal. You do not need to have experience of an working in an ABA environment as training in ABA will be given as part of your induction programme.

Full training will be provided and there are opportunities for career progression. Enthusiasm, reliability, being a team player and a self starter are key skills required for the role.

The position is full time, term time only, 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9-4.15 Friday, 39 weeks per year.
Salary is £16,150pa (actual salary).
