- IT DevOps Engineer/Systems Analyst -

We are recruiting a DevOps Engineer/Systems Analyst to support our operational functions by providing Business Intelligence, KPI generation and data analysis. This position will be based in our Head Office in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will be a business-focused professional used to a fast-paced and demanding commercial environment. This highly desirable role is a fantastic opportunity to work with the largest independently owned heating company in Kent. Purpose of the Role:
You will liaise with business partners and other stakeholders, including senior management. One of the crucial tasks you will undertake will be the support the day-to-day development of change within our 3rd-party service management platform, AeroMark. Using your practical MS SQL skills and exposure to MySQL and other data management systems, you will initiate, design and implement process changes, whilst overseeing the developmental milestones delivered by the software provider themselves.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of SQL, VBA, queries, stored procedures, scripts, dashboards.
• Proven ability for robust attention to detail, particularly the maintenance of data integrity.
• Understanding of development lifecycle, testing, phased parallel implementation.
• Understanding of business process enhancement using IT solutions.
• Familiarity with data extraction and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Design SSIS Packages to export and import data.
• Use SSRS and Power BI to create dashboard views \ reports.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to code and review TSQL.
• Microsoft Access and Excel skills at advanced level.
• Exposure to and development of AeroMark Service Management platform (beneficial)
• Experience of system integration and data-transfer with external parties (beneficial)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:

• Support and day-to-day development of change to and within our 3rd-party service management platform, AeroMark.
• Structured testing and implementation of solutions
• Initiation, design and implementation of process changes, whilst overseeing the development milestones delivered by the software
provider themselves.
• Develop reporting, data capture and system usability by the application of SQL, VBA, queries, stored procedures, scripts, dashboards and other automation.
• Strong data analysis and database management.
• Facilitate reporting requirements with tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Coordinate development with other departments and business teams.
• Develop professional and technical knowledge to enhance IT development.
• Create operational reports and dashboards to provide accurate and timely management information, financial, business and process metrics to enable efficiency gains.
• Manage any automated reporting routines, ensuring validation processes are in place, and any reports are received by the required parties, including client interfaces.
• Ensure any clients KPI reports built to the required specification, and necessary processes and procedures are in place to facilitate timely delivery.
• Assist with Client integration projects, covering the full software development life cycle and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Complete regular data reconciliations with client systems, identifying inconsistencies in data and provide necessary feedback.
• Provide user support for data issues and requests.
• Providing Out of Hours on-call as part of an IT Rota.
