Our client, a well-established country Pub located in Stodmarsh, Kent, is currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to join their team to assist with the washing up, cleaning and organisation of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have an interest in building a career and learning about all aspects of the kitchen, from baking and foraging to butchery and aging meats.

You will be working 40 - 50 hours per week, five over seven days per week. Please note that due to the location you must drive and have access to a car.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Assist Chefs with washing up
* Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
* Arrange stockroom, ensuring products and ingredients are being rotated correctly
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Person Specification

* Previous experience working in a kitchen
* An eagerness to learn and want to build a career as a Chef
* Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
* Excellent time management abilities
