Content Manger (3 Months Fixed Term)
Our client is seeking an experience Content Manager with developing experience to join their team for a period of 3 months (there is a possibility of an extension)
The main purpose of this role is to oversee all content creation activities for the client website as well as marketplaces. Working within the marketing team to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company’s online strategy and improving the efficiency for the best possible results. You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. An experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As a Content manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail oriented. You will be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. The team will produce all product page content, including product descriptions as well as category and brand information.

Capability, Knowledge and Experience
• Proven work experience as a Content Manager.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, and content management software.
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• An understanding of modern web mark-up languages.
• A knowledge of the trade industry is preferable.
• Understanding of Google shopping, Google Merchant Centre, and Analytics.
• Excellent editorial understanding and visual awareness.
• Knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL), No-SQL DB (Mongo, Redis) CSS and Jinja (Python) and ecommerce personalisation platforms. Familiar with a variety of operating sys-tems and platforms (Windows 7-10, Server 2012+).
