Residential Children's Support Workers needed in West Kent

Children's Support worker jobs in Kent - Full or part time - Flexible hours that suit you. Hays Social care specialise in working with experienced Support workers offering flexible hours either on a full or part time basis. We work with a varied client group around West Kent, including Mental health, learning disabilities and physical disabilities paying £10 to £11.50 an hour. We are currently looking for experienced Support workers to work within children's residential homes.

Locations; Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding area's

Your new role

Delivering general daily care to children and young people with complex needs, including behavioural, including assisting in the development of their social and emotional growth and practical support duties as required, to include meal preparation and supervision, laundry, mending, clothes, food shopping, doctor's visits, cleaning, supervision of social activities, driving escort and collection duties, and assistance with washing and bathing where additional needs may require this.

This will be across a variety of clients within the area. Work rota's may include night waking duty and undertaking sleeping in duties as required; you will work over a wide spectrum of hours.

What you'll need to succeed

It would be ideal if you held an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent, however, this is not essential. We do ask that you have recent and relevant experience as a Children's Support Worker that we can reference. It is not essential to hold a driving license; however, this is preferable.
