Leigh Academies Trust has a brand new opportunity available and are seeking to appoint an experienced Estates Project Manager, joining the team from March 2021. Due to the growth and expansion of the team, the position of Estates Project Manager will work across the estate on the delivery of projects focussing on capital work and supporting the work of the Estates Services Team. The successful candidate will have varied responsibilities including;


Capital building works including programme and budgetary management
Technical support and management assistance with the FM Maintenance contracts.
Health, safety and regulatory compliance
Premises management and development
Offering technical support to the wider Estates team
Ensuring each academy is maintained to a standard fit for purpose and that buildings adhere to statutory compliance regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a building surveying or related qualification and prior experience of working in a similar role.

Remuneration: This position offers a starting salary of £41,291 per annum, rising to £45,446 subject to successful performance management, plus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2020, our Trust will comprise 28 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 15 primaries and 2 special) educating over 16,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have one further secondary academy in the development phase, due to open in September 2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.
