Claims Operations Analyst
The Company
You will joining an established City based Loyd's Broker, who are a market leader in arranging binding authorities for US MGAs and in managing the relationship between the MGA and the insurers, together with the authorisation to quote and bind a wide variety of risks under in-house binding authorities.
The Role - Claims Operations Analyst (Disbursements and Recoveries Team)
The Claims Operations Analyst (Disbursements & Recoveries) is a vital part of our internal Claims Operations team. The Analyst will help ensure timely and efficient reconciliation of financial transactions, processing of claim-related payments and clearance of recovery transactions (individual payments / Bordereaux, etc). The Operations Analyst also ensures reliable data-quality in our incoming and outgoing financial records, as well as manage communications with internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
ï·Manage, validate, and accurately process thousands of financial transactions, totalling in several million dollars per month.
ï·Reconcile financial data to/from vendor partners (via Imported data / Bordereaux)
ï·Request, process and import data submissions on Claims systems and identify any reporting issues to escalate to appropriate parties in a timely fashion.
ï·Cross-reference source file info with system upload to ensure data integrity.
ï·Ensuring clients are provided a prompt and accurate response to correspondence, meeting established service standards, to facilitate swift advice and settlement of Claims.
ï·Ensure Cheques &/or Wire Transfer (ACH) payments are issued promptly for payment of claims after they have been approved.
ï·Manage replenishment of TPA loss funds / escrow banks accounts.
ï·Effectively manage daily workload by prioritization to ensure all tasks are completed within the set time parameters.
Skills and experience
ï·At least 2 years relevant Claims Operational Experience.
ï·North American Binding Authority Claims Operational experience (preferred)
ï·Numerate, articulate and analytical
ï·Experience working with file import mechanisms and data quality
ï·Ability to identify data issues and maintain data quality
ï·Good organisational/Timekeeping skills
ï·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and adapt to change
ï·Collaborative team player with an innovative mindset to improve functionality and efficiency
ï·Good verbal and written communication skills
ï·Good Excel, Word and Outlook skills
ï·Knowledge of Global XB (Total Objects - DXC product) and ImageRight, (preferred)
ï·Knowledge of ECF/CLASS - approx. 25% of workload via ECF CLASS / 75% outside ECF CLASS (preferred)
