Product Master Data Controller

Medway

C.£35k

Our well-established client is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join their team working as a Product Master Data Controller on a full time and permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing product data specifically in a medicines and/or a medical device environment. Initially working remotely, leading a team of 3 you will be results driven and heavily involved in a variety of Product and Supplier Master data and compliance.

To be successful, you will be capable of improving data capture and accuracy for all relevant product compliance such as tariff classification, country of origin and product categorisations. Our client is looking for an experienced leader who can provide full support with the Brexit transition, to ensure all changes remain compliant.

Key duties;

* Compliance & Supply Chain risk identification (data set is 60K+ SKUs)
* Continuously reviewing and updating polices and manuals, developing new processes to improve accuracy of data and efficiency of activities
* Developing and delivering training on compliance topics as needed to internal partners, including development of the skill set and proficiency of the existing product master data team
* Represent the Inventory team in business projects such as MDR; Modern Slavery, LSAS, providing advice and solutions in respect of compliance and risk

The successful candidate will have/be;

* Extensive experience in Master Data Management
* A background in Healthcare with knowledge of CE & UN classifications
* Demonstrable strong leadership skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions
* Organised and results driven
* A relentless and versatile learner
* Adaptable and comfortable with change
* A pro-active and practical problem solver
* Can prioritise a busy and demanding workload
* A background within Logistics Distribution or Supply Chain
