Team Leader
Barker Munro Recruitment are proud to be working with this well-established insurance business based near the heart of Maidstone who are currently looking to add an experienced Team Leader to their ranks.
As a Team Leader in the business, you will be pivotal component within the operation being responsible for a team of insurance professionals. You will be able to demonstrate proven ability to lead and motivate your team alongside being well organised and conscious of your responsibilities to the team and their own daily work demands and professional development. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing training requirements , developing your team and staff morale, team performance, absence management and appraisals whilst also being able to offer some kind of technical insurance referral point.
Working within this award winning insurance business, you will have full responsibility of day to day management of the team, reporting into the Operations Manager.
To be considered for the role of Team Leader, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a customer service leadership capacity, ideally from within the Insurance or financial services industry. You will be able to show proven ability to develop and motivate team members whilst also being organised, diligent, conscientious and hardworking. The ability to deal with customers in a sympathetic but firm manner will be an excellent attribute to have alongside the ability to lead team members remotely.
This is a brand new role for 2021 and an exciting opportunity to join a growing insurance brand.
The role will initially be based from home with remote working until such time the business decides on the future plans outside of the current working restrictions. Therefore you should be comfortable with working from home but also being able to work in the office when the situation arises.
