All Seasons is an established and respected local community care company based in Margate and supporting clients in East Kent. We are now recruiting for a full-time Operations Manager position. The role is office-based, working from Sunday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, with some overtime as necessary to meet business needs.

Social care provides vital support to vulnerable people in our communities, and we have continued operations throughout the COVID
pandemic, making a huge difference to people's lives and working in partnership with the NHS and local authorities. Nationally, social care employs 1.2million people, and is a growing sector.

We are keen to attract candidates who may be considering a career change. Full training and support to complete Health and Social care qualifications will be provided in the role. What we are looking for is someone who cares, who wants to deliver excellent customer service and support to their staff, who has experience of managing teams, good IT and logistics skills, is resilient and committed to going above and beyond in the role.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

1. To support a team of care coordinators and community staff in providing a seamless service to All Seasons clients, matching clients to care workers to ensure continuity and choice. Ensure direct reports have regular supervisions and annual appraisals, and support with on-the-job coaching and personal development of the team.
2. To manage the rostering of staff work, ensuring all areas are safely allocated and clients receive a quality service. Ensure client calls are planned in advance, taking account of planned absence e.g. training and holidays, and ensuring that new staff are appropriately shadowed and observed in the community, and that clients and staff are advised of any changes to normal programmes.
3. To be part of the All Seasons Senior Management Team, supporting with operational and strategic planning of the business and playing an active role in developing business growth
4. Maximise use of the planning and reporting functionality within the rostering system, and develop the skills of others in the team in using the rostering system
5. Communicate effectively and on a timely basis with external stakeholders such as Kent County Council, the NHS and all clients and related parties, as required
6. To support the Director of Operations in developing a more commercial mindset in the team
7. To ensure safe forward planning of high risk areas of the year - Christmas, Easter, School Holidays.
8. To share responsibility for ensuring staff are delivering a high-quality service in line with statutory policies and All Seasons policies and procedures with the Senior Management Team
9. Provide regular reports and Management Information on area of responsibility to the Director of Operations and SMT as required
