Our client based in Dover a time critical logistics specialist providing travel solutions to international companies across multiple industry sectors are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (Planning and Monitoring) to join their team.
The primary function of this role is to monitor live, urgent transport movements keeping clients informed of the progress of their shipment and maintaining the bespoke transport management system.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients to provide updates on their shipments
* Shipment management through the transport management system
* Identify and troubleshoot logistical challenges to ensure a seamless service
* Support the wider operations team
About you
* Previous experience within transport/logistics (desirable not essential)
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment
* IT proficient be able to use Word, Outlook and Excel confidently
* Be able to prioritise your workload, be focused and motivated
This role is office based Monday - Friday (9 hour rotational DAY shifts) with 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays and other perks including Perkbox. This is an amazing opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded business with real potential to grow your career.
