Position Type: Part-time. Based on 16 hours per week in school term time.
Role and Responsibilities:
A managerial role within a local charity offering support to bereaved children and young people in West Kent. We also support children and young people who have a parent or sibling with a life limiting illness.
The role would be home based. Laptop, printer, phone, and, storage to be supplied by Slide Away. But travel to staff and venues within a 20-mile radius would be required.
Generally:
Management of all employees related to the staffing and organization of bereavement workshops.
Recruitment, training, and appraisals of staff
Liaison with our Founder, Workshop Assessment Co-ordinators and Charity Administrator
Arrangement of staff meetings
Prepare reports for trustees
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Education to Advanced Level GCSE
Preferred Skills:
HR experience
A good communicator
Previous experience with a training/educational organization an advantage
Additional Notes:
Would suit a person willing to work on their own initiative using the allocated hours on a flexible basis.
The work is interesting and stimulating and, although organized within a framework, presents challenges, and, inter-action with a variety of people.
