An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join this growing business based in mid Kent. The key purpose of the role is to oversee the Finance function within the business and provide support to the Management Team as the business continues to grow.

This is a broad and all-encompassing finance position within a successful business for someone who relishes responsibility and working in an international environment.

Tasks:

- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, credit control, invoicing, and other transactions
- Creating monthly and annual management reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Managing cash flow
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with HMRC on all issues on VAT & PAYE
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
- Manage and report on all invoicing activities
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Refine and develop financial policies and procedures for the company

Skills and Qualifications:

- Formally qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) required
- Experience in a SME environment
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem solving and decision making
- Coaching & people management
