Albion Fine Foods is a food wholesaler supplying some of the finest chefs in pubs, restaurants and hotels across London and the South East with ambient, chilled and frozen produce. If you eat out regularly chances are you’ve eaten food supplied by us.

Since coming out of lockdown the business has gone from strength to strength and we don’t intend on slowing down. We are expanding rapidly and due to an internal move we are looking for a Credit Controller to join the existing successful team in Tonbridge.

This role is Monday – Friday working 40 hours per week and typical duties will include:

- Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of all activities
- Liaise with Sales Team
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
- Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time
- Resolve customer disputes in a timely manner
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
- Undertake account reconciliations as required
- Issue and processing of credit notes
- Processing receipts
- Other reasonable duties as required by management

To succeed in this role you will need to:
- Have recent hands-on Credit Control experience, ideally from a similar environment
- Work well under pressure
- Be a confident decision maker
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be results driven with good analytical skills
- Have great negotiation skills
- Be sympathetic and understanding
- Be IT & computer literate
- Have a positive and proactive approach
