Arden Group is an established and growing automotive independent in the UK, with offices in Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone Kent. The company has two successful retailers: Arden Maidstone BMW & MINI and Arden Tunbridge Wells, BMW, MINI & MOTORRAD– each offering sales, service and parts facilities.

We have a vacancy in our Accounts Department at Arden Maidstone Limited - we are looking for Accounts Assistant.

The role;

* Processing and keying the daily banking
* Reconciling statements and chasing debts owed to the company
* Providing holiday cover for other team members
* Credit Control
* Open and maintain accounts
* Raise any ad-hoc invoices
* Bank reconciliation
* General office duties


Our ideal candidate will be;

- Strong communicator
- Analytical and logically minded
- Remain calm under pressure of deadlines
- Being able to work independently, and also as part of the accounts team
- IT literacy, attention to detail, and accuracy are key skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality

The role involves the use of several software packages bespoke to the motor trade: CDK/Keyloop/Rev8/Kerridge/Drive or Pinewood experience would be advantageous but not essential as in house training will be provided.


Requirements & Qualifications
For this position we will only consider applicants with accounts department experience.
