Social Enterprise Kent is an award winning organisation, which has established itself as one of the main social enterprise bodies in Kent, giving advice to many charities and budding enterprises, and running training, employment and community services. We are a passionate believer in the power of social enterprise to effect positive change in our communities, and the importance of partnership working in all sectors. We run a number of successful community projects, helping to reduce social isolation and loneliness, and improve physical and mental wellbeing within our communities.
We are now looking for an energetic, creative and hard-working individual to join our team and help build on our success for the next 5 years and beyond!
Job role:
• Promoting SEK as the organisation of choice for community projects, training, events and workshops. .
• Coordinating and producing of a wide range of marketing communications, including preparing marketing materials, to include case studies and quantitative materials
• Lead on the annual SEK social impact report and project learning reports, evidencing the impact of what we do for funders and stakeholders in a creative and engaging way
• Managing the SEK website, preparing and uploading interesting written copy for the website, and measuring the traffic to the website suggesting improvements.
• Providing regular analytics and MI about marketing, reporting to the Board on progress.
• Produce regular newsletters for our activities and projects, and monitor stakeholders and opening rates for our marketing materials
• Lead on external stakeholder communications and engagement events where required
Social Media
• Growing our social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increasing presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube and others as appropriate.
• Creating marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
• Creating content, including text posts, videos and images for use on social media.
• Leading on internal communications to share the successes of all we do with our own staff and volunteers
