Quantitative Analyst (Python)

Our client based near Orpington is seeking an Analyst with excellent Python skills.

This position will be focused on undertaking stocks and shares research, evaluating algorithmic trading models and developing trading strategies. If you join this business you will be looking at financial results, market prices, and industry factors that may affect the price of a company's stock and using this data to develop trading models.

Full training in trading analysis methods will be given and previous experience of stocks and shares trading is not essential, but would be advantageous.

Requirements
*Minimum of 18 months of industry experience in Python
*Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
*Strong background/education in Mathematics, Computer Science or Quantitative finance
*Strong ability to combine data science with statistics
*Strong written and oral skills, ability to explain modelling results to non-technical audiences
*Experience in stock, investments, financial markets preferred
