Our client is a market leading business renowned for delivering high quality, innovative IT reporting solutions and consultancy to their clients within the UK and mainland Europe. The successful candidate will be used to working in small teams, able to multi-task and be a self-starter. As a Test Analyst they will have extensive experience in data analysis and testing.

Position Summary:

As a Software Test and Support Analyst you will be experienced in testing websites, web applications and apps across all browsers and devices; creating, maintaining and executing detailed test plans and scripts for multiple products. You will liaise with project owners and key stakeholders regarding the progress of current projects and provide testing metric reports; find and log bugs in a detailed and precise manner; support hardware requirements and deal with customer support queries by email and telephone.


Testing across multiple devices and operating systems

Creating and maintaining automated test scripts

Adhering to agreed delivery timescales

Creating and executing detailed test plans in JIRA

Finding bugs and logging bugs found in a precise and detailed manner within JIRA

Communicating with customers about potential and existing issues through email, telephone and helpdesk for JIRA

Directly involved with developers in the Test-Driven Development process

Managing ticket flow within JIRA

Using a variety of testing tools to aid in testing

Raising detailed bug/defect reports

Creating user help guides and documentation for internal and external products

Monitoring and auditing data quality

Managing support inbox

Replying to customers via email

Creating Accounts and resetting password

Call handling

Supporting company hardware and software requirements including configuring laptops


Highly analytical with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information

Strong communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrable working experience as a test analyst comprising:

Unit Testing

Integration Testing

Functionality Testing

System Testing

Performance Testing

Documentation of analysis in agreed formats

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience of hardware and software support


Candidates must have received training or be qualified in any of the following technologies

Business information systems

Computer science



ISTQB Foundation level software testing

BCS Intermediate software testing certificate

Able to think around and resolve problems with minimal support
