Rota-based 5 days per week.
Our opening hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am and 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00-4:00pm
Holidays: 28 days per Annum.

We supply paving, walling, coping, cobbles, edging, steps, aggregates and bespoke products to landscapers, designers, architects, and homeowners. The variety of the formats, colours, and textures, when combined with the unique requirements of each customer mean that an infinite number of permutations are possible. Your Part - Sales Advisor
Sales Advisor is an internal sales and relationship management role that will task you to handle incoming customer communications, guide customers through our product range, process orders and respond to sales enquiries. You will be responsible for ensuring that all office based facets of your sales transactions are completed properly. You will also be part of a team and team members are expected to help each other.
By getting to know our regular customers, you will be the custodian of the business relationships we have with them. During these interactions, Sales Advisors are expected to help customers to order everything they need whilst also identifying and record opportunities for sales growth.
This role is crucially important to ensure that we operate to standard that is consistently high. We are lucky to work in an industry where most of our customers are spending money on something that they expect to be a source of lasting pleasure. Our goal is to make sure that their experience with us is pleasant from the very outset.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries
Check stock availability and/or lead times
Process sales orders
Ensure customers have not forgotten any products
Handle incoming communications with customers
Provide product information and range guidance to customers
Identify and record opportunities for sales growth
Update, maintain and enhance the quality of data recorded and held on customers' records
Monitor each transaction from inception to completion. This will involve scheduling delivery (in co-ordination with your colleagues)
Checking payments. Printing picking sheets and labels
Other duties may be assigned and/or the above amended from time to time
Entry Requirements
12+ months of sales experience
Demonstrable background in developing relationships with customers
No product or industry knowledge is required - full training will be provided
Candidate Profile
You are friendly and able to listen and understand customers' needs
You are committed to learning about the stone industry and invest in a career with us
You have the ability to understand and explain technical concepts
You are attentive to detail and perform to a high standard, reliably
You are ambitious, upbeat and hard working
You will be comfortable with calculating quantities
