Senior Technician - Technical Audit c£40,000



Lloyds Broker is seeking to recruit an experienced Technician to join a busy team in Chelmsford.



Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within the team, ensuring the timely accurate issuance of high quality compliant Insurance documentation in accordance with our defined Service Level Agreements



Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Extensive understanding of Market Reform Contract's (MRC)

Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the Industry and its regulators

Ability to audit and authorise invoices to the exacting company standard, ensuring the documentation is compliant with the information agreed within the Market Reform Contract (Slip) and any associated instruction / schedule.

Ability to audit and authorise evidence of cover documentation to the exacting company standard, ensuring the documentation is compliant with the information agreed within the Market Reform Contract (Slip).

Demonstrates a working understanding of all the resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements associated to the successful completion of day to day activities.

To act as the go to person for all technical auditing, authorisation and issuance support.

Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the Industry and its regulators





Person Specification:

At least 3 years' experience working within a Lloyds insurance Broker

Experience in Marine or Property & Casualty (preferable) Attention to detail and accuracy

High level of accountability.

Self-motivated and able to work with a degree of autonomy.

Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn bespoke packages

Robust verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrates high degree of problem solving

Work under some pressure at peak periods maintaining order control and quality out puts

Ability to be able to manage own priorities and know when to escalate non routine issues

Demonstrates positive and tenacious attitude and can do behaviour with strong accountability

Ability to develop and sustain relationships at all levels allowing the opportunity to influence outcomes
