Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for the day to day support of the company's IT services. Previous experience in supporting users in a multi-site, networked PC environment will be advantageous to applications.

The role

* Helpdesk role levels 1st and 2nd line support
* Ensure all consumable stock items are ordered and ready for use at all times
* Selection and purchasing of new laptops, PC's and other hardware
* Perform maintenance of equipment
* Oversee internal all-in-one printing, fax and copiers and to liaise with maintenance partner when required
* Keeping records of hardware purchase dates, specifications, Serial Numbers all within our defined data sheets

The person

Systems/software working knowledge of:

* All Microsoft Operating Systems
* Microsoft Active directory management
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 including hybrid Exchange with Office 365
* Microsoft Terminal Services / Remote Desktop
* Microsoft Office 365
* Apple client based backup utilising Apple TimeCapsules and other mainstream TimeCapsule devices

Hardware/technologies working knowledge of:

* Apple MAC computers and their operating systems in the business environment
* Apple iPhone, iPad
* Cabling of Category 5e & 6e Networking
* Wireless networking and security
* Endpoint security software

Driving license and access to a vehicle is required due to the multi-site nature of the role.
