Are you an experienced Customs Clerk with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role?
Would you like to consider a Customs role working for the UK's largest privately owned Logistics company? This company have over 5,000 logistics professionals within their business across almost 200 UK operating centres.
This role is based at the office in Dover and involves no shifts working Monday-Friday 9-5.30 this is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful and well established logistics business. Using your customs knowledge and expertise you will create industry leading time critical logistics solutions for the business.
About the role
* Ensure all export clearances and import declarations are completed in a timely manner
* Ensure all entries are correct based on the information provided and all documents are completed accurately first time
* Deal with any minor customers queries and issues
* Collect all applicable duties and taxed from customers
About you:
* Sound knowledge of CS, Destin8, CHIEF & Datafreight
* Experienced in inputting Import and Export entries
* Understanding of incoterms and associated Duty & VAT calculations
* Minimum 2 years' experience in both import and export documentation
* IT Proficient
* Have excellent attention to detail, able to prioritise workloads and be an effective communicator.
