We are supporting a well-established and successful global freight specialist with their recruitment of experienced Customs Clerks.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the company who are a global forwarder who were founded almost 40 years ago and are known for their innovation and excellence, with this role based in Dover.
If you have proven experience within a similar role and have good analytical skills as well as being flexible in terms of hours as this role will require you to work shifts, including days, nights and weekends then contact me today.
Duties Include
* Processing Import/Export Declarations
* Calculating duty/VAT for each consignment
* Dealing with general enquiries from customers relating to customs procedures, classifications of tariff's and documentation requirements.
About you:
* Experienced in inputting Import and Export entries
* Understanding of incoterms and associated Duty & VAT calculations
* Minimum 1 years' experience in both import and export documentation
* IT Proficient
* Have excellent attention to detail, able to prioritise workloads and be an effective communicator.
