Commercial Insurance Broker
Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an established Insurance broker which has a reputation for delivering innovative products, quality service and competitive premiums. They provide professional Broking services to a variety of business sectors and currently have a requirement for a Commercial Insurance Broker in their Kent office.
This role is working on administration of clients’ insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums, cross-sales.
To be considered for the role of commercial insurance broker you will be required to invite Pre-Renewal and Renewal Processing whilst also being very hands on in business development/Identify opportunity to expand business opportunities. You will be methodical and logical in your approach to work being able to handle lots of information when handling renewals but also being able to investigate further when needing more information on the risks presented to you.
As the successful commercial insurance Broker, you will ideally have some commercial insurance knowledge, possibly within the schemes markets and also possess excellent Customer Service skills. There is also a consideration that presentable personal lines knowledge would be acceptable in the role should you demonstrate a desire to learn more in depth commercial insurance.
Your experience will have been gained either from a broker or possibly an insurer or even having worked under a delegated authority scheme. You will have the ability to work supportively with colleagues and be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook efficiently.
