JOB ROLE: Bookkeeper & Office Manager
TERM: Temp to Perm
HOURS: 37.5hpw, Monday - Friday
SALARY: Up to £13.84phr/£27k FTE
LOCATION: Thamesmead
A are working with a client based in Thamesmead to support them with their search for a Finance and Office Manager. This role would suit someone with a background in accounts who enjoys getting involved with wider office responsibilities to support the company's continuous growth.
Candidates who can work 4 day or 5 days per week will be considered.
Your duties include:
* Working closely with Managing Director and Operations Director
* Bookkeeping to be provided to the accountant on a monthly basis
* Managing 6 cost centres
* Sales and purchase ledger
* Managing a weekly payroll
* Credit control
* General office admin such as dealing with customer enquiries, overseeing driver dispatch and wholesale queries
Your key skills are:
* Excellent knowledge in finance, possibly holding an ACCA or AAT qualification
* Forward thinking and able to lead and adapt to process changes to support the company's growth strategy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and an accounting software such as Xero
* Working independently and happy to be the sole office presence at times whilst your colleagues are at various sites
