A highly successful business who have grown significantly over the last few years is looking to recruit a Qualified Financial Controller to support the Directors with their exciting plans for 2021 and beyond.
The Financial Controller will lead with all aspects of forecasting, management information, liquidity and capital management, and financial controllership.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant who has experience with cost accounting, forecasting, budgets, management accounts and has previously developed a team.
There will be a large system implementation over the next 12 months, therefore strong system experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* All aspects of accounts processing and ledger.
* Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, VAT.
* Preparing monthly management accounts.
* Forecasting and budgeting.
* Working alongside the Directors to support with business planning processes.
* Preparing statuary accounts.
* Liaise with external auditors.
* Liaise with tax advisors.
* Other ad-hoc duties
Person Specification
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
* At least three years post qualification experience.
* Strong financial system knowledge.
* Experience working within a fast-paced business.
* Background working for a highly progressive and fast-growing global company.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
Salary circa £60K.
