A successful novelist requires an assistant to work in a supporting role. The candidate must be local to Maidstone or Rochester as there will be regular meetings and training will be required. Some work - approximately one hour per week - will be conducted at the author's office.
Anyone applying must possess a high standard of English and be highly computer literate. Ideally, you possess a commanding knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok as managing content on the platforms will form the bulk of your work.
Work will include handling emails and filing paperwork, social media work to drive sales and interest, collection and analysis of statistics, research on Amazon. Uploading content to social media platforms and my website, analysis of trends on Tiktok, driving followers, managing content. Formatting books and creating large print versions. Other work, additional hours, and the opportunity to become more heavily involved may develop over time if both parties are in agreement.
Much of this work can be conducted at home and there are not really any set hours. Suitable IT equipment will be provided.
Pay is negotiable but above minimum wage and is likely to rise if a suitable candidate can be found.
