Our client, an Education Provider based in various locations around Kent, is currently looking to recruit a Building Services and Engineering Apprenticeship Manager. To be Responsible for a range of apprenticeship programmes including, plumbing, electrical and welding. This role might appeal to someone who is currently working in the trade but is looking for a change of direction.

Responsibilities:

* Leading and managing a team of apprentice trainers supporting them to perform at the best of their abilities
* Ensure apprentices and employers receive up to date course information
* Provide updates and monitor programme development
* Liaise with the delivery team and the apprenticeship trainer to track student progress and achievement
* Plan and develop apprenticeship programmes to meet students and employers needs
* Work in partnership with the leadership team in undertaking programme level self-assessments
* Oversee the safeguarding and learning support arrangements, providing support to overcome barriers to learning
* Participate in quality assurance systems
* Other tasks as deemed reasonable

Person Specification:

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Up to date industry experience
* Experience of successfully supporting training and assessing in a variety of contexts
* Appropriate professional qualification (minimum level 3)
* Full driving license as travel between sites will be required
