My client, a highly successful publishing firm for professional magazines and websites, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Exhibition and Sales and Sponsorship Executive to join their UK and European events sales team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Maximise all new business opportunities and manage own sales pipeline
* Attend face-to-face visits, host teams meeting and make large volume calls to potential clients
* Report all sales activity correctly on the system
* Generate significant new business revenues across the events portfolio
* Develop new accounts and up-sell where possible
* Maintain and develop an excellent relationship with all clients
* Maintain up- to-date knowledge of the sector and identify and research new growth areas for sales
The Candidate:
* Have at least 2-3 years experience in Exhibition or Media sales
* Working knowledge of written and spoken Spanish or Italian would be advantageous
* Motivated by and used to fulfilling targets
* Excellent sales techniques
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
