Teacher of Geography

This popular Dartford secondary school are looking to recruit a Teacher of Geography for a subject specialist cover position starting in February 2022.

This role is temporary and long-term and requires a teacher who is prepared to take on elements of planning and preparation for the subject.

This school has fantastic grounds and resources especially in Humanities and Geography. They have recently received a good Ofsted with particular praise coming for the leadership team and support across the staff team. The curriculum taught at this school is designed to be active and encourage student participation and engagement. Group activities, away trips and learning outside of the classroom are the norm rather than the exception.

In order to be considered for this role you must have:

A basic understanding of the Geography curriculum
Ability to inspire students in the classroom
Ability to teach mixed ability classes
Innovative teaching style
Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
