Job Title: SEN Maths Teacher
Start Date: Maidstone
Salary: £180- 250 per day

This SEN school based in Maidstone are looking for a Teacher of Maths to join a very successful Maths department on an ongoing temporary supply cover basis. NQTs will be considered alongside more experienced teachers with the recruitment emphasis being on quality of teaching.

This school teaches Maths at KS3 and KS4 as part of both an Ebacc and a GCSE programme. Teachers are encouraged to be thoughtful in their lesson planning and to create engaging and exciting lessons that inspire the next generation of mathematicians. Fun, interactive and activity based lessons are the norm here.

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach a mixed timetable of KS3 and KS4 Maths. You will be given ample time to plan and prepare your lesson material. You will work with academic students with a passion for their learning. You will be expected to challenge and develop their understanding of their subject and ensure that they have the best opportunity at achieving a great GCSE grade.

To be successful in this role you will need:

* The ability to teach Maths at GCSE
* The ability to lead learners with excellent classroom presence
* The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
* The experience of using current educational technology
* The up-to-date knowledge of current teaching practices and safeguarding legislation
