The Application Engineer's role is to support customers in the operation and use of ur clients technical test and measurement equipment in the Electrical Power Sector.

The Technical Support Group is responsible for first line customer service for our client's products and applications in the UK and the EMEA region.

The role involves helping customers understand how to select suitable productions, test electrical assets in substations and interpret the test results.

* Delivering first class technical support to our customers and distributors by telephone, email, social media & web chat.
* Delivery of first class product demonstrations and training
* Creation of technical content and delivery of training for internal and external
* Provide customer technical support by telephone, email social media & web chat
* Customer & distributor support via site visits including product demonstrations
* Provide product/application training for internal and external customers both onsite and online
* Input data into CRM system (C4C) to ensure accurate customer information and service



Minimum 5 years' experience working in the HV Electrical Power Industry, preferably in a protection and transformer environment/role.

A higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (degree or equivalent) is required. Desire for engineering excellence

Computer literate, conversant with MS Office packages, social media platforms
