The successful applicant will be experienced in the operation of various folding and gluing machines and be capable of producing high-quality packaging work. Must be willing to work on a rotational shift pattern which includes nights.

My client are also looking for people with a strong Manufacturing/Production background that are keen to get into this industry. Full training can be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

* Producing finished cartons of various complexity, styles and material types and thicknesses,
up to and including corrugated, across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high
degree of quality
* General machine maintenance
* Advising Team Leader(s) of any consumable stock requirements
* Ensuring machine crew are aware of their duties and are monitored accordingly

* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Ability and willingness to share knowledge and skills with other members of the team
* Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training

* Experience of working within the packaging sector
* Organised, methodical and logical approach to work
* Able to show a high degree of initiative and flexibility
* Able and willing to do overtime during busy periods.
