Teacher of English
Experienced teachers, NQTs and unqualified teachers considered

This popular Medway secondary school are looking to recruit a temporary teacher of English to cover a mainly KS3 timetable. As this timetable covers mainly years 7 to 9 , non subject specialists could be considered if they show ability within the subject and a willingness to work closely with the current HOD.

This role is temporary and will run until July 2022. Although temporary there is a possibility that for the right candidate a permanent role could be available in September 2022.

This school has fantastic grounds and resources especially in English. They have recently received a good Ofsted with particular praise coming for the leadership team and support across the staff team. The curriculum taught at this school is designed to be active and encourage student participation and engagement. Group activities, away trips and learning outside of the classroom are the norm rather than the exception.

In order to be considered for this role you must have:

A basic understanding of the English curriculum
Ability to inspire students in the classroom
Ability to teach mixed ability classes
Innovative teaching style
Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
