An opportunity to join a small and vibrant team within a leading Lloyds broker.



This is a really exciting role which will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to progress and assume responsibility across a number of disciplines.The role will start with Broker Back-Up duties but with an immediate path into Broking and developing into a 50/50 split between technical (documentation production and processing) and broking with plenty of room for progression in years to come.

The team work exclusively in North American Transportation and have a substantial book of business placed with both Lloyd's Syndicates and MGAs. They also have an in-house delegated binding authority meaning that there is an in-house underwriting aspect to the job along with the traditional broking role.



Due to business growth our client is looking to expand their North American Transportation team, focusing on the placement of APD, MTC,DOL and GKLL risks.



Candidates DO NOT need experience of North American business or transportation risks. The essential requirement is experience in a technical broking support role within the Lloyds market, examples below;



- create MRC / Endorsements / Certificates

- processing risks and managing bordereaux

- create client debit / credit notes

- handling client and insurer enquiries

- ensuring premium settlement within PPW's

- versatile and adaptable

- able to meet critical deadlines

- strong communication skills

- organised
