We have an excellent as a Technical Support Administrator to join our busy team based in our Maidstone office. To be successful in this role, you must be tenacious, have substantial experience of working within a Technical Support role, and have exceptional customer relations skills. You will have a passion for sound (music, movies, gaming) with an interest in technology; specifically in Consumer Electronics/Home Audio and Networking/connected products is essential.
Although this is a UK focused position, other languages would also be an advantage.
Role Summary
As Technical Support Administrator, you will be committed to providing excellent customer care providing dedicated Technical support to the UK consumers and Sales team. As the main point of contact for all incoming technical enquiries, you will assist our consumers and commercial partners at every interaction point. This will involve ensuring all enquiries are processed in line with the company procedure and become a central contact for technical information.
Responsibilities include:
• Identifying hardware and software solutions and troubleshooting problems
• Resolving network and connectivity issues
• Speaking to consumers to quickly get to the root of their problem
• Talking consumers through a series of actions to resolve a problem
• Following up with consumers to ensure the problem is resolved
• Providing timely and accurate customer feedback
• Managing multiple cases at one time
• Testing and evaluating new product
• Continual product and technical training
• Updating and maintaining FAQs
Requirements
• Interest in Consumer Electronics/Hifi and network connected products
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the business
• Good written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail
• Good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Proactive with good problem-solving skills
• Effective Time and Task management
• Previous experience in Technical support/product support role
• Consumer Focused
• Actively enjoys learning new technologies
• Computer literate – MS Office/IOS/CRM Systems
