SEN Teacher

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for an SEN Teacher for a role at a secondary school based in Medway, starting in September on a full time, permanent basis.

The role will involve working with students with specific special educational needs. You will deliver a bespoke curriculum of English, Maths, Science and Humanities with potential SEND and SEMH needs in a small class setting. You will ensure that, at all times, you are considerate to the specific needs of your students and that all material is appropriate and accessible.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have experience in SEN (special educational needs)
* Be able to provide students with 1-1 and group support
* Know how to deal with challenging behaviour
* Have a passion for inspiring children with special needs
