Terance Butler Holdings are a privately owned property development and investment company based in Aylesford, Kent. We have a substantial property investment portfolio comprising logistics, industrial, environmental recovery and residential properties. We have a development pipeline of circa 1,000 residential units in various stages of the planning system.

We are looking to recruit a proactive person who will report to the Managing Director, provide support to the Real Estate team, is experienced in property / construction matters or a legal secretary with property background experience and can assist in general office administration. The role is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and successful company and take ownership of the admin and systems function.

Role responsibilities include:

• To take responsibility for collating and storing all property documents for the portfolio and construction sites in hard copy folders, on the
company server and the Cloud
• Ability to type, draft and produce various documents and marketing particulars efficiently
• To assist the team in undertaking viewings and supporting tenant lettings
• To be the company’s first point of contact for tenants
• Undertaking credit searches and Land Registry searches
• Answering office calls and directing to the relevant team member
• Adhoc support as required

The successful candidate will be confident liaising with directors, staff, clients, solicitors and proactively organising and managing diaries and taking the lead on tasks to ensure an exceptional and seamless support service. In particular we look for the following attributes:

• Computer literate with competent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is highly essential
• Knowledge of residential tenancies / commercial leases
• First class communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent levels of accuracy
• Initiative to learn and ability to self-motivate
• Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
• Capability to prioritise and multitask effectively, with good time management and organisational skills
• Always demonstrate discretion and the ability to always maintain absolute confidentiality
• Hold a clean driving licence
• A level educated or strong relevant experience
