Do you speak fluent German? My client is looking to appoint a German Speaking Customer Services Assistant, to join their Booking Department, on a full time, permanent basis.
Working in a team of five, reporting to the Department Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small section of the English and German speaking client base while looking for opportunities to develop and expand the services provided to those customers. You will have the opportunity to utilise both languages on a daily basis.
To fulfil this role you will have a solid customer service background, be numerate and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & German, good computer literacy and experience of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
Duties Include
Making bookings on clients behalf on ferry services throughout Europe
Charging of jobs to be passed to administration department
Telephone calls on a daily basis to existing clients
Liaison with sales department for the completion of quotations to existing clients (providing information only - not producing quotations)
Shift Pattern
Week 1-3- Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm
Week 4- Monday-Friday - 9am-6pm
One Saturday morning in six - 9am-12pm
One UK Bank Holiday per year - 9am-12pm.
