Functional Safety Engineer



The successful candidate will be responsible for developing safety strategies for powertrain systems,

ensuring the functional safety of powertrain electronic controls in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off highway machines.



This role will require you to be the primary interface to assist with development of Functional Safety Goals and interpret such concepts for the design team. You will develop Concept/ Safety Case/ Interface Agreement and Production Release Support. You will also conduct impact analysis on customer safety goals and safety requirements alongside the project teams.

Your strong communication skills will drive internal and external dialogue and create a sound basis for decision making.

Your TSC (Technical Safety Concepts) will be developed as per any ISO 26262 needs.

You will be capable of analysis and assessment using FMEA, FTA, FMEDA skills and knowledge

* ASPICE V3.0 awareness
* Microsoft Office tools
* IATF 16949 Awareness
