Barker Munro Recruitment has a rare opportunity to break into the Insurance industry and join a friendly and driven team in a well-respected organisation.
As a Trainee Insurance Professional you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring that we continue to offer award winning products in the professional and friendly way which they renowned for.

After receiving comprehensive training which is aimed at providing you with the product, claims and background knowledge, you will then be ready to recognise how the service offering could benefit both existing and potential new customers. Initially, you will be working on Business Development, Analytics, Marketing & Events to support the sales team and business growth. This will provide a foundation and allow you to understand our business, clients, systems, target market and processes.

After a year you will progress onto the product and technical training which is required to provide advice to their clients. Once you have completed the program you will go on a rotational scheme lasting for a year which will range from Sales, Customer Service, Accounts & Claims which will give you with the experience to define your career path.

The role requires excellent telephone manner and a flexible, people-orientated approach to everything you do. Above all though, you’ll relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused, ambitious and friendly team.

Full Training & Development will be provided which includes technical knowledge, Sales soft skills with the opportunity of a funded CERT CII qualification.

21 days holiday plus bank holiday. Hours are 9-5 Mon- Fri.
