Packing Operative

Based in Rochester, Kent

Salary: £18,600 + £600 p/a Shift Allowance

Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week on a rotating pattern between two shifts which rotate weekly (Week 1 - 6am-2pm & week 2 - 2pm-10pm)

Permanent position



Duties and Responsibilities:

* Packing and palletising of goods
* Cleaning machinery
* Removal of waste from the production lines
* Stretch wrapping
* Machine filling of packing materials
* Inspection of finished goods
* Movement of goods by movement aids
* Assist the Machine Operators in any task when appropriate



Key Skills required:

* Previous experience within a similar role or in food manufacturing environment
