Job Title: Data Analyst

Salary: £23-28,000 DOE

Location: West Malling

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join this supportive company as a Data Analyst, based in West Malling and offering hybrid working after an initial 3 months in the office.

Duties include:

* Use SQL studio to query data from the company database.
* Remove any errors or inaccuracies in the data that could impact conclusions.
* Use Python to collate and manipulate data effectively.
* Assess the data quality by performing initial analysis.
* Using appropriate tools, organise and visualise data so that it is useful, readable, and understandable for other teams across the business.
* Prepare accurate, meaningful, and accessible reports.
* Bring your analytical skills and approach to assist other areas of the business.

The successful candidate will have:

* A good academic background with a degree in a subject such as Economics or Finance.
* Experience and understanding of SQL, with the ability to understand and build basic select queries.
* Experience using Microsoft Excel to work with large data sets.
* An outgoing personality, with the desire to learn and progress to a Senior Analyst position.
* Great communication skills, with the ability to distil information to an appropriate level of detail for each audience and build a coherent picture of the data.
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach.
* Confidence building effective working relationships and working as a supportive member of a team.
* Ability to prioritise and manage your workload with minimal supervision.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
