The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced Panel Wirer to work at our client's busy manufacturing site, based in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Fitting, wiring, building and assembling power control cabinets
Using hand tools to assemble components
Fitting electrical components and electrical wiring
Soldering and crimping
Installing large electrical control cabinets
Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
Fault finding and repairing
Installing and testing electrical panels and cable assemblies
Maintaining of technical records
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Previous electrical assembly and wiring experience, as well as excellent attention to detail and a high level of dexterity will be required for this role. Please can we ask that you do not apply if you do not meet this criteria, as your application will not be considered.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:15, and Friday, 07:30 - 12:15.

Starting pay rate of £12.50 per hour.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, with the potential of earning a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period.
