Job Title: Warehouse and Assembly Manager
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7-4, Friday 7-11am!
About the Role:
Our client, a leading company in their field based in Aylesford, is seeking a Warehouse and Assembly Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing a team of approximately 6 warehouse and assembly staff, overseeing all administrative tasks related to warehouse and assembly operations, and ensuring the seamless integration of computer systems with warehouse and assembly processes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and direct a team of warehouse and assembly staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their efficient and effective performance.
* Ensure that all warehouse and assembly paperwork is processed accurately and in a timely manner, including inventory reports, shipping documents, and purchase orders.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
* Oversee the integration of computer systems with warehouse and assembly processes, ensuring that all data is accurately inputted, processed and tracked.
* Conduct regular audits of warehouse and assembly processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Monitor performance metrics and report to senior management on a regular basis.
* Occasionally assist with manual tasks in the warehouse.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
* Experience using Sage 50 and CIM systems.
* Proven experience managing a team of staff, including delegating tasks and providing feedback.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
