Hays Recruiting are currently recruiting for a Full Time Packer and Art Handler that has Removals Experience for our client based on the Outskirts of Maidstone. This is a Permanent role for the Successful candidate.
Salary - £24 - £28k per year
Monday to Friday with Occasional overtime available on Saturday

Duties Include:
* Safely handle, pack, and wrap various forms of artwork, sculptures, and furniture for removal and export purposes
* Construct custom crates and packaging solutions to ensure the secure transport of valuable and delicate items
* Collaborate with clients, art institutions, and galleries to understand specific packaging and transportation requirements
* Apply art conservation principles to prevent damage during packing, handling, and transit
* Coordinate logistics and plan the efficient placement of items within crates to minimise movement during transportation
* Conduct condition assessments of artworks before and after packing, documenting any pre-existing damages
* Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation for the proper export of artworks and cultural artifacts.
* Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of packed items, including photographs and detailed descriptions
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client enquiries and concerns related to packing, transportation, and installation
* Prioritise safety protocols during all handling, packing, and installation activities
* Compliance with all health and safety requirements
* To use all materials efficiently and for the purpose for which they are designed following the company packing guidelines
* To work efficiently at all times with accuracy and care to ensure client goods and home are not damaged *Follow instructions from Team Leader in labelling cartons and completing inventories
